WARRANTY TERMS – 1 September 2023
When you purchase a Steamfast machine and their genuine accessories, we’ll support you every step of the way with our 1-year Carry-in warranty commitment. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT, our warranty is automatic when you purchase your Steamfast device from an authorised Steamfast dealer. With RoenCO (Pty) Ltd, you can have peace of mind that we are always there to assist you. To keep your Steamfast machine running in optimal condition we recommend using only Steamfast Genuine Consumables.
Subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions of the claim’s procedures, the product will be repaired at no charge for parts and labour. Only faults that are a consequence of manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship will qualify for FREE repairs. All replaced parts or products become the property of RoenCO (Pty) Ltd.
All models are not intended for use as a profession, business, trade or occupation.

This warranty applies to purchases made on or after the 1st September 2023.
Subject to these terms and you complying with the claim’s procedure, the product will be repaired with free parts and labour where there is a fault with the product which is a consequence of a manufacturer’s defect in materials or workmanship. All replaced parts or products become the property of RoenCO (Pty) Ltd.
The warranty applies to claims notified by you during the “Warranty Duration” identified in the table below. The Warranty Duration starts from the date you purchase the product.
Despite the above, the warranty ceases when the product is rented, sold, or otherwise disposed of by you.

Warranty Exclusions and Limitations
This section applies to the extent permitted by law and only covers genuine Steamfast products imported by RoenCO (Pty) Ltd.
Repairs
Products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished products of the same type, rather than being replaced. Replacement or repairing of the product or part thereof does not extend or restart the Warranty Term. If a product presented for repair can retain user-generated data, you are advised that the repair of the product may result in loss of this data.
Reimbursements
RoenCO (Pty) Ltd, its Technical Support Centres or authorised on site technicians, may seek reimbursement from you of any reasonable costs incurred by them if the products are found to be in good working order, the problem is not a consequence of a defect or manufacturing fault or where any of the warranty exclusions and limitations apply. Reasonable costs may include travel costs for on-site services, the costs of packaging, insurance and transportation for Carry-in service, parts, and labour.
Your Rights as a Consumer
This section applies if you acquire the warranted products as a consumer as defined in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).
In terms of the CPA, should Baby Lock’s products fail to meet the implied warranty of quality contained in the CPA, you are entitled within a period of 6 months after delivery to a repair, replacement or refund in respect of the product (Subject to the other provisions of the CPA). This implied warranty of quality afforded under the CPA applies irrespective of our 1-year warranty in relation to Baby Lock’s products.
Baby Lock’s goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the South African Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
